The Limes overlooks Hoff Beck in the Eden Valley in the quiet village of Colby just 2 miles from Appleby. It has wonderful views and walks. Abundance of wildlife, easily accessible to the Lakes and Yorkshire Dales.

From A66 take exit to Appleby, B6542, on entering Appleby take B6260 to Orton, follow road through town, past castle, take right to Colby. Colby is 1.5 miles on, enter village go past village hall, past telephone box on the right, The Limes is next house on the right. There is public transport from Penrith to Appleby.
